ssembling
tanks can be a bit tricky the first time out.
There are just so many parts! The printed diagrams
included with every tank kit show what needs
to
be done pretty clearly, but sometimes a little
bit of good ol' photography can go a long way.
With this in mind, we've compiled a complete
step-by-step guide for assembling your tanks.
Have
the instructions which came with your tank handy
as you move through the steps. With both of
these
resources, you're sure to build your tank correctly
and without any mishap. One important thing to
keep
in mind as you work is to dry fit all the pieces
before committing with glue. This way, you can
correct
any parts that don't line up or fit.
Clip
off 12 small wheels, the medium wheel,
and the large wheel for each hull side.
Glue
the wheels in place as shown,
with the
bolts facing up.
Add
a drop of glue to the top of each wheel
before moving on.
Line
up the pegs with the other half of the
hull side.
You'll
hear the hull side snap into place.
Press firmly.
Press
the other end until it snaps into place
as well.
Glue
pieces C4, C5, and B6 (x2) onto the
hull sides.
You
should now have two hull sides ready
for the tracks.
Clip
out 2 long treads, a pair of "4"
treads, a pair of "2" treads,
and six individual treads.
Line
up and glue a long tread to the top
of a hull side.
