Welcome! For those of you wishing to attend Games Day, here is a little guide to help you get the most out of your Games Day experience. There is also a map provided to make it easier to get around.

Where and When
Games Day is located in the North Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre 255 Front Street West, in Exhibition Halls A & B. Enter either from the sky walk or the parking garage and follow the Games Day signs. Games Day 05-06 is open from 10am to 4pm.

Parking
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre North Building Parking is located on Simcoe Street just south of Front Street West. The map shows the entrance to the parking garage and there is a flat rate of $13 per day. There is also a parking lot available at 40 York Street that charges only $7 a day on weekends. There are also two impark parking lots at 123 Front Street and 20 York Street. All lots other then the North Parking lot are about a 5 to 10 minute walk and unfortunately all parking rates are subject to change.

Local Transit
For anyone arriving by transit, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre is connected to Union Station via the Skywalk. So if you’re arriving via Go transit, subway or the bus just get off at Union Station and take the ten minute walk west. Just follow the signs to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Food
There are vendors outside the North Building along Front street. These vendors are extremely convenient to get to and offer hamburgers, fries, hot dogs etc. Another option would be a walk across Front Street to Simcoe Place just under the CBC broadcasting centre. Simcoe Place contains a full food court although some of the individual restaurants are closed on weekends.

Bank Machines
There are ATM’s located within the MTCC, as well there are some located along Front St. either at Simcoe Place or east towards York at the Citibank building.

Lodgings

Games Workshop has a deal with the Hilton Toronto on Richmond St. West. The rate they are offering is $179 which is down from the regular rate of well over $200.
