The 1,000,000 point Waaagh! took place last weekend and we are still
feeling the after effects of this mighty battle. The simple idea was to
have everyone in Canada play a game of Warhammer Fantasy on the same day
in order to have the biggest game of Warhammer ever. Well, we certainly
accomplished that! Thanks to your support there was over 1.13 Million points
being played throughout Canada, that is 130 000 points over our goal. Making
Canada the home of the biggest game of Warhammer Fantasy ever played in
the world. So how did the game work out? Well, all said and done there
were over 600 000 victory points scored and evil narrowly won by 11 000
Victory Points.
We would like to thank everyone for their fantastic response to the event,
it is always amazing to see what can be accomplished when the entire country’s
gaming community comes together for one goal. Thanks to all the Independent
Retailers who ran this event in their stores, all the clubs that participated,
the GW Hobby Centres and most importantly every hobbyist who came out to
show the rest of the world that Canada does it best.
