Jean-Francois Dubeau:
Grey Knight

Could you please introduce yourself?
My name is Jean-Francois Dubeau, I am a proud gamer who enjoys everything from computer games to pen and paper role playing. I am a voracious reader of lore for all the games I play. I am a war gaming, and miniature fanatic, and obviously a huge Games Workshop fan-boy.

Where are you from?
Montreal, Quebec

How long have you been in the Hobby?
6 years and counting

What was your first experience with Games Workshop?
Decades ago, before I had a steady income, I tried getting into war gaming. but However, the overwhelming variety of products, armies and games left me puttering between Skaven, Terminators and Spyrers. This was hard on me as when I barely had enough money to stick to one project. It was only years later, back in 2001 that my brother picked up some Necrons (much as he had picked up Vampire Counts back when they were all skeletons) and suggested we give this another try.

What armies do you have painted?

My collection of painted armies includes;

Warhammer:
-Lizardmen
-Ogre Kingdoms

Warhammer 40,000:
-Tau
-Tyranids
-Eldar

What projects are you working on now?
Adding to my Lizardmen and my Tyranids. I have a few boxes of Bretonnians waiting to be converted into Vampire Counts. My Eldars will also eventually be brought up to a full tournament sized army. The one project that keeps my brushes wet at this time however is a small tournament army of Death Wing, specialized in crushing the vile Tyranids.
