I thought that I would take the
opportunity to inform you about a free service that Games
Workshop provides to ‘Independent
Retailers’ across Canada. |

We have a group of elite volunteers who are part of what
we refer to as the “Grey Knight” program.
Each of these Knights is an individual who has successfully
completed a rather tough recruiting process and is
a hobbyist
of veteran
proportions.
A Grey Knight’s primary purpose is to run activities
within Independent stores. Here is an overview of some
of the services they can provide to your store:
• Introductory games (Mines of Moria,
Battle for Macragge and
Warhammer Fantasy Battle).
• Terrain building classes.
• Painting classes.
• Mega-battles (Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Fantasy Battle and
Lord of the Rings).
•‘Hall of Heroes’ tournaments.
Here are three easy ways to book a Grey Knight for
an event in your store:
1. Contact your Games Workshop Trade Manager. He will
discuss with you any plans and events that will best
suit your store.
2. If you know a Grey Knight, then you can arrange
directly with him or her.
3. The final and newest way that you can book a Grey
Knight is through the Games Workshop website. Just
complete the form below and it will be sent directly
to the Community Manager.
We
can not guarantee that a Grey Knight can be booked
for the event.
We will contact you within 48 hours
of receiving your e-mail.
After the event either the Regional Trade Manager or
I will contact you to review the event and discuss
future
opportunities.
