GAMING CLUB NETWORK

What is the ‘Gaming Club Network’ (GCN)?

The GCN is made up of independent clubs who meet in regular venues and are largely comprised of adult gamers. We do not run the GCN. It is an independent organisation working alongside Games Workshop to further our Hobby community objectives.

The GCN exists to help clubs talk to each other and support the growth and development of new clubs, or events the clubs are running. GCN membership will allow club support in running or attending events, communication and liaison with other clubs and Games Workshop, as well as the opportunity to have the club promoted in Games Workshop stores.

How does your club become a member of the GCN?

For a club to achieve membership of this body it must meet a set of standards. The GCN follows these core standards to help groups self-regulate themselves, making the clubs safer for members and all the processes of running the clubs as transparent as possible. If a club is not a GCN member club, we will still be supportive. Non-GCN clubs will not be reviled or shunned.

In some cases a club is too small and may find it difficult to attain membership to the GCN, especially as all GCN member clubs are “Rare” level clubs. So, if it wishes a club can affiliate with a GCN club. The club works alongside the GCN member club to better itself, whilst participating in joint events.

All GCN member clubs’ committee members will require a background check and each club must have liability insurance for any events that the public are invited to.

To apply please contact our Community Manager at:

Benefits of being in the GCN

As mentioned previously, all GCN clubs are ranked as “Rare”. So, they receive all the benefits as mentioned under the tier section of the Regiments of Renown.
