A painting team is a group of hobbyists
that get together to improve their painting skills by
meeting like minded people. The teams also participate
in painting competitions provincially, nationally and
even internationally. Members maybe members of gaming
clubs or may not even play any of our games, but love
the part of the hobby that is painting.
Why
should you join a
Painting Team?
If you want to win the Olympics, you train hard so that you can throw
further than the other guy/girl. But what if no matter how hard you
train you can never win that gold medal that the other athlete always
throws further. The answer: get a coach or in this case the next
best thing; a team of coaches. A painting team is group of talented
individuals that coach and mentor each other, passing on their skills
and experience to one another.
How
do you join a painting team?
Well, have a look at our map and
see where the nearest painting team is located, most
of them will be cities like Team Montréal, whilst
others will be regions like Team Maritimes.
Then, once you know which team you
would like to join, then send either an e-mail to the
team or in case of new teams with no representative send
an e-mail to: community.manager@games-workshop.ca
