Hello I am Valaire Roerick
I am a Dark Angel fanatic. I recently got a Dark Angel tattoo so when ‘Paint or Die’ came up I really had no choice; I am going to dominate in the name of the lion.
Ahhh, another week another distraction, ZOMBIES!!! I am gearing up for our zombie halloween extravaganza, I believe I will make for my hunter, the guy with the hat. You have to watch that guy, hes got a hat.
Dark Angels, right, I actually have been working on them pretty tirelessly, all 30 of the infantry are done as well as their rhinos, making me feel pretty good about my progress. I estimate being done by late October or early November. This will give me lots of time to get used to my army of choice. Speaking of which, I just played a game against Imperial Fists and I mauled him, so if these trends continue, watch your back Cory.

WEEK 5
I have resolved not to let a whole week go by without painting, that almost happened this week, but at the last second I basecoated and inked three rhinos. So I'm not exactly on target but it makes me feel like I'm being productive. I have been very busy painting up a nurgle temple and a ruined manafactorum for the store.
I foolishly am also painting up some more flesh tearers because they are so cool, BUT I SWEAR THIS TIME! I will paint more, I also unfortunately am pretty sure I lost some whirlwind missile launchers so I will have to order some more. That won't stop me I will be victorious!
WEEK 4
Hello all you little people, after my last update I had almost nothing done, now I have much more done. Sort of.
I now have 20 more Marines basecoated, three Rhinos built and primed and 5 tanks built. The Terminators are going to be a work in progress, because I am changing the fluff of my army. The army is now the Iron Wing.
The Iron Wing is a combination of Dark Angels and the Iron Hands. They hunt the fallen and love the lion, don't get me wrong, but the big difference is they believe in mechanical purity, so they are adorned with machine upgrades. The apothecary is going to be a combination of apothecary and techmarine bits and Im considering calling my commander an Ironfather or something of the sort.
Anyone who has any tips or oppinions let me know because I love the fluff and I am always up for help, leave me a message on GW Local or drop by the store and give me a shout.

My first update eh, well I just got back from a week of vacation and I was feeling pretty good. Then I realized that I haven't painted anything for my paint or die, so I had two options freak out or start painting. So I freaked out. Then Adam slapped me and calmed me down, and now somehow I have 9 Dark Angels done.
I am pretty pleased with my progress, I want to finish my other squad, and the two rhinos by next week. I don't know if it will actually happen but I will do my best. If I keep wasting my time though, that die thing will become a reality.
Somewhere in this I have to make some wicked scenery for the store, a big mek stronghold and a chaos mountain top, which is going to be awesome. Everyone should come down to the Eaton Centre and check out whats going on.
