WOW! A 1700pt Tau army in 100 days. This will not be too bad of a task as long as I don’t get bogged down and keep the target date in mind. I have always enjoyed the Tau and thought they would be a good army to do in this time frame. Ever since the Tau Empire codex came out I wanted to build a mechanized Tau force. With the older codex, there were not as many options to make your Tau army mobile. Now with the Piranhas in play and all the new little gadgets and add-ons you can take the list is far more versatile. They still won’t be as quick as the Eldar, but they are far more sturdy. Wish me luck, and I’ll keep you posted with my weekly progress. FOR THE GREATER GOOD!

Well guys, sorry that I have been quiet these days , but I do have some models done. So here they are, my 24 Fire Warriors, my Devilfish and my Skyray. I had to stop for a few weeks cuz “Apocalypse” came out and painting a Baneblade was too much fun!!!
Next on my painting table are my commander and my crisis team. I want to get these done so I can challenge Kid Vicious, I mean Kid Kindness to a little battle before the main event. As you know he’s not fairing too well against the magnificent Grey Knight, Kevin McGill (which my water caste diplomat paid off), Shiun chuckles with malicious glee!!!
Anyways here are the pictures of my Fire Warriors and my Devilfish.
By the way Justin, I have seen Jay drink the whole of Vancouver dry!! So you better win that bout against Jay. I myself will have to plan a way to topple Jay and his Elysian drop troopers. It might be a Turkey (Vulture) shooting arena for me. Muhahaha…

Wooow its already the beginning of week 3!!!
Hi everyone out there in the land of 40K. My name is Shiun and I been “coerced” into joining this awesome event. The past few weeks have been busy for me so I haven’t been able to send you a post for the first two weeks. But I have not been sitting on my rump doing nothing. Two years ago I was fortunate enough to meet up with Dave Taylor, who was the guru at bringing out great looking armies in less time you can change a tire!! He gave me a few great tips and told me go forth and show what can be done. Ya well…. Let’s just say that this Paint or Die is the best place to do it.
The first lesson he told me was to build all your guys and convert things that you wish to. Luckily I stayed away from conversions unless there is an extension on the due date?? HUH?? Thought not. I have all my guys put together, based, and primed (OH my sore pointy finger). What is the best way to paint a whole army at one time?? My trusty (sometimes) airbrush of DOOM!!! I think the gods were smiling on me that day for I was able to airbrush my whole base coat without a problem. Usually with an airbrush you will get clog ups and other problems.
