Greetings Citizens,

This week the tide has turned. The fates have conspired against Titus and the great Crusade. The enemies of the Imperium have fought well and hard to swing control back in their favour. The score now stands at 4-1 in favour of the Antagonists, it remains to be seen if the forces of the Imperium can recover from this startling swing in momentum.

Lets get the latest developments from the front.

Silex Silicis IV
The green tide is rising on Silex Silicis IV. The Orks of Kownt Toofa, encouraged by the reclamation of the ‘Gorks Thunder’ Gargant, have taken up the offensive against the invading Templars. The Kownt has revealed a force of Ork Roks hidden within the Silex asteroid belt and struck a surprise blow to the Templar fleet. With their fleet engaged the Astartes forces on the ground are left without re-enforcements or the ability to re-deploy in the face of an overwhelming Ork assault. The Templars have turned an Ork fort, cleansed in the early days of the war, into a defensive point. If they are overwhelmed there the Crusade against Kownt Toofa may well fail.

Lochtelli I
In the midst of a sea of dire news the world of Lochtelli I remains an island of hope. A small force of Black Templars successfully sabotaged one of the largest Hive Ships in orbit above the embattled world. This desperate gamble allowed the combined Imperial Navy and Black Templar fleet to isolate and destroy the crippled vessel. This great victory has succeeded in disrupting the Tyranid forces on the ground, allowing Imperial troops to gain much ground that was lost to the invaders. It seems the light of the Emperor shines brightly on Lochtelli I.

The Crusaders have claimed victory in this weeks Critical action, giving them an additional 10% advantage in the Itoh VI sector.

Itoh VI
It seems even the world of Itoh VI is set against the Crusaders. Fierce dust storms have ravaged large portions of the world, giving a decided advantage to the inhuman Necrons. With this is combined the constant predations of the relentless Techno-Zombies. Small patrols of Templars can no longer be sent out alone unsupported as many do not return. Great Monoliths part the sands and strike without warning against the Templars. It seems that the Necrons have stepped up their offensive against the Imperials, now everywhere the Xenos appear in greater numbers and with greater force in arms. Some wonder if the Necrons intentionally led the Templars here to their doom.

Kemi II
The Black Templars newly established a stronghold on the embattled world of Kemi II has come under assault from the alien forces of the Tau. Wave after wave of Devilfish transports came without warning to the city of Hiian bringing with them a sizeable force of Fire Warriors. The Xenos were highly organized, and had obvious detailed intelligence of the city and the disposition of Imperial forces there. This news can only point to traitors within the loyalist command, no wonder the war has gone so poorly here. Despite this setback, Intel regarding a secret Tau command centre has come to the hands of the Imperials. A force of Elysian Drop Troopers sacrificed their lives to gather this information; currently the Black Templars are mobilizing to ensure that their sacrifice was not made in vain. If the Astartes cannot bring victory now this world may well be lost.

Saaremaa
A new report has been received from the haunted halls of Saaremaa. A task force of Templars had engaged a small force of Eldar when both sides were set upon by an overwhelming tide of Daemons. The beasts appeared from the very walls of this cursed and fell upon the noble Marines in a tide of gibbering madness. Hopelessly outnumbered and unprepared very few of the Battle-Brothers managed to survive the engagement. Of the Eldar nothing in know. This first report from in days from this hellish realm is not encouraging in the least.

This week sees the Antagonists take the lead for the first time in the campaign, both Kemi II and Saaremaa have fallen out of Crusader control. Only Lochtelli stands now as the last bastion of hope. Although the bad guys have much to cheer about the war is far from over. As we have seen so far a few victories for either side can make all the difference!

Across Canada the Provinces and Territories continue to change hands as the two sides clash. The Antagonists manage to maintain their 7-5 lead on the national map, although Quebec has fought its way back into the Emperor’s light, while Saskatchewan has been fallen into darkness. This week marks the first time that the Antagonists have held control of both the National and Campaign maps. A complete turn around from week one where the Crusaders held both!

Here in the War Room I have recieved multiple reports of a force of Grots have broken faith with their Ork masters and taken up arms against them. The Greater Red Deer Organization of Tactical Sillyness (or G.R.O.T.S. if you prefer) sent a few pics of their 'Big Scrap' that took place over the weekend. Here the forces of Grant Dyck take the fight to the Orks of Wayne Kargaard.
