ith the turmoil caused by the Black Crusades of Chaos and the Hive Fleets of the Tyranids, the Tau Empire has been able to expand along the Eastern Fringe of the Imperium of Man.

These successive expansions have not gone unnoticed — years ago, the Imperium launched the Damocles Gulf Crusade to reclaim its territory. Through Apocalypse-scale battles on many worlds, the forces of the Imperium made it all the way to the Dal'yth Sept World. Only a Tyranid incursion elsewhere caused the Humans' withdrawal. Surviving the Crusade, the Tau have engaged the Imperium, the Orks, and the Tyranids in huge battles worthy of Apocalypse games.
