results can be devastating. The Champion, and sometimes their
entire warband, may be granted more and more "gifts" of
mutation — claws, horns, tentacles, scales, vestigial
wings, extra limbs, eyes, mouths and even heads — all
in the space of minutes. Soon all that remains is a tide of
mindless Spawn, a mass of writhing flesh rushing at the foe
with no thought remaining but the bitter desire to destroy.
