Ever get the urge to play a truly massive game of Warhammer 40,000? The Astronomi-con guys (Mike Major and Christian Augst) sure did! On March 22nd and 23rd, at the University of Manitoba, they hosted the first ever Astronomi-con Grand Battle. This massive undertaking was fought as an opening battle for the upcoming Eye of Terror Campaign that starts off this summer.

It was a incredible undertaking and it definitely was cool to see massive formations of tanks and troops marching to war under the cover of organized artillery barrages. It was the largest deployment of miniature troops that this reporter has ever seen If your interest is piqued check out the coverage, maybe it will inspire you to fight a large scale battle of your own.
